The Andrew Tan-led Alliance Global Group, Inc. (AGI) more than doubled its net income last year to P23.8-billion year-on-year, bolstered by the resurgence in activities across all of its business segments with the reopening of the economy towards the latter part of the year.

MREIT, Inc., the REIT company of the country’s largest office landlord Megaworld, reported net income of P2.0-billion for the six months period ending December 2021, inclusive of a fair value gain on MREIT’s investment properties of P702.0-million.

MREIT, Inc., the REIT company of township developer Megaworld, is set to acquire additional office assets worth around P20-billion this year, which will eventually increase its portfolio value by 34% from the current P58.5-billion to P78.5-billion by end-2022.
